I was thinking I might actually take a stab a real homepage, as opposed to my old one, which was just kind of a big stratchpad for tags and javascript. Didn't even make any sense, but then again, you probably don't know that, because I doubt you ever actually saw it.
My reason for putting up a page is probably the most common reason that there is. I feel like I should. What the vast majority of web pages lack, especially personal ones, is CONTENT. And that's exactly what I don't have, at least not at this point. Actually, I do have a coupla reasons for putting something up. The first is the second most common reason for putting up a page. To relate my interests to you, the (possibly unwitting) visitor to my page, and give you all kinds of unsolicited information, the likes of which you have no interest in. (The BACK button on that browser looks tempting about now, doesn't it?)

One day, while surfing the web and listening to Meshuggah's Nothing album, I got one of those annoying little popup ads
for "8000 Free Smileys!". The difference this time was that the popup happened to coincide exactly with the beginning of the
guitar solo for Organic Shadows, and - wow! - the two went together like peanut butter and jelly!
